Did you know? In order to cut down on smog emissions, the city of Paris is rolling out free bike rentals. With several rental kiosques located throughout the city - every few blocks in high traffic areas - renting a free bike is easy to do. Even tourists can take advantage of this great opportunity. The first half hour is free and there is a small fee for time using the bike after that. See this article from NPR News for further information. Then, plan to rent a bike when you go to Paris. What a great way to see the city! |
